McDonalds Mother's Day #BloggerBrunch

I had the pleasure of joining other Bay Area Bloggers & McDonald's Bay Area for a wonderful brunch this past Monday.  We were treated to The New Egg White Delight Breakfast Sandwich, The Premium McWrap & Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie.

Not only did we get to try the new delicious food, we were treated with a tour behind the scenes!  It was amazing to see how McDonald's works, something I'm sure that we all have thought about one time or another.  It is immaculate and orderly; very impressive.  I really did learn a lot of things that I had often wondered about.  Did you know that McDonald's makes their own soda?  They DO!  Here are a few other "Did you know" facts that I learned:

• McDonald's uses the same ingredients from brands that we all use at home.
• McDonald's Chicken McNuggets are made with white meat chicken and they don't go  through mechanical separation processes
• It's all 100% USDA-inspected beef that they serve; no fillers!

I really enjoyed being a part of this #BloggerBrunch, I was able to meet other bloggers that I have only spoken with online and we were already 'e-friends' if you know what I mean. ;)

Egg White Delight McMuffin. It's SO good, you don't even miss the yolk...and it's good for you.

The New Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie at McDonald's is super refreshing!  The flavors are divine together!  The way they are made are insane as well...the machine does it all, from adding the ingredients to washing the blender it was made it.  Insane and fun at the same time!

Macy's American Icons Event



American Icons.  There are so many to be celebrated, too many to list, but we continue to remember them all and celebrate them when we can.  They are legends that won't soon be forgotten!

I'm excited to join Macy's Union Square #SanFran as they Introduce American Icons!

There will be a cooking demonstration with KitchenAid Culinary Expert Deb Slater starting at 5:30! During this cooking demonstration, Deb will show you the tricks of the trade using KitchenAid products to make delicious patriotic recipes.

A runway show will begin at 6pm, modeling fashions from Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, etc.  There will even be a Q&A with Bravo TV's Dukes of Melrose's Christos Garkinos!  There is a lot of fun to be had at Macy's Union Square, next Thursday, May 16th!

Michael Bublé To Be Loved CD Review

I love all kinds of music. 

When I'm not listening to Pop-Punk, Pop, Rap, Country or R&B music, I love the songs that remind me of the days before me.  I love songs that come out of the American Songbook and what better voice to be singing it than Michael Bublé!?

My favorite song on Michael's new CD, To Be Loved is the duet he did with Reese Witherspoon, Somebody To Love.  It took me back to the time that Reese starred in the Johnny Cash bio-pic, Walk The Line...I loved her voice and I had always wondered if she would sing again.  Her and Michael sound SO good together! 

 

 

Everyone's favorite Canadian crooner is back again, finding his harmony while making his way through the American songbook (and looking oh-so dapper in a suit)!

I Got It Easy, another original, is basically a song where I count my blessings and is a reminder to me and everyone to appreciate all the good parts of life. I’m a very lucky guy and I never want to forget it."
