Maniac, Baseball, Corned Beef & Cabbage

Saturday morning was nuts.  I felt like a maniac. 

Big and Lil G both play baseball.  One is Minor B and one is T-Ball.  They both had a game at the same time on the same field on the same day.  To top it off, Big G had Bible school at the same time as well.  He couldn't miss bible school so I had to take him to that, then go get gas because I was on E.  The hubby is the head coach on Big G's team so he had to go and set the field up, so he dropped Lil G off with her team.  Then I had to go and get Big G, take him to the field.  I tried watching BOTH games at the same time, but that didn't work out too great.  Lil G's game ended and I took her to the snack bar to get her player meal.  Then we went back over to try and watch the end of Big G's game.

I know I complain, but I'm a mom who has the right to gripe a little here and there. It gets tough!! I know why I do it though and that's all that matters.



It was a gorgeous day at the park.

Saturday evening was a bit exciting for me, though.  I finally tried this:

I'd been eyeing that box at the store for SO long and never had just bought it to try it out.  It was THEE BEST homemade curry I've ever tasted.  OK, so it's the only homemade curry I had ever tasted, but I made it and I was pretty proud of myself. I chose Pork for the meat and just added some carrots and potatoes.  So good...if you are into curry, you should try making it at home and put it over some white rice.  I still have enough for a few lunches or dinners! Oh, and the kids loved it too.  The hubby is way too picky and won't even try it at all.

Sunday was a bit kick back; slept in, had a mini play date with our neighbor, tried to win Paramore Listening Party tickets [this was ALL weekend and I DIDN'T win. :( ] and painted my nails this color:



The extent of GREEN on my St. Patricks Day

Holy heck the picture looks bright but it's not too bad on the nail.  I couldn't get the color to look right in the picture or else you would be able to see it! Then we headed over to the In Laws for some Corned Beef and Cabbage.  It was super delicious as always...

And that was the weekend.  Nothing SUPER exciting, but a good weekend none the less.
